This number rings me a couple of times each week, always regarding some finance matter. They typically request to chat with the managing director, and when I inform them he’s not in, they mention they’ll drop an email instead, yet it never arrives. The calls keep coming, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked their number now.

I attempted to reach the Managing Director, but the person on the other end used a name he doesn't actually go by. When I inquired about who's calling, she seemed irked and simply hung up on me. I've now blocked the number.

I picked up the phone and, to my surprise, was met with the faint sounds of a call centre buzzing away in the background, yet not a soul uttered a word. Moments later, I was placed on hold, where I listened to a pre-recorded spiel regarding the Shire Business Group. Seems like it was just another unwanted sales pitch, if you ask me!

To put it bluntly, it was just another sales pitch. I didn't bother passing her on, as we're inundated with countless sales calls on a daily basis.
