4 yearsI wasn’t home at the time, so I didn’t pick up and they didn’t leave a voicemail either.4 yearsI received a call purporting to come from Microsoft, where a chap with a foreign accent informed me that my computer was infested with viruses and he could 'rescue' it. It was clear as day that he was attempting to pull a fast one, especially when he requested remote access to my machine. Thankfully, my system was perfectly alright, and I've got top-notch antivirus software keeping an eye on things.Microsoft4 yearsGet ready for them to tell you to do an internet speed test, which usually shows way less than what you’re actually paying for! After that, they’ll probably ask you to install some random screen sharing or remote access programme. Just stall - say you’re having issues or don’t quite understand, and ask for more guidance. The longer you keep this going, the less likely it is that these crooks can dupe someone else who might fall for their tricks!4 yearsgot a call today from someone claiming there was a problem with my computer being hacked or something. i wasn’t buying it at all, so i just said no thanks and ended the call. these types of calls happened to me before, guess they’re doing the rounds again. better to just ignore them.4 yearsI got a call from a woman, but she was talking in some language I couldn’t make out at all!4 yearsAnother typical scam call claiming to be from Microsoft. Total nonsense!MicrosoftSubmit Your Own Report (01827 285287)
