Got a call from a lady who said she needed to do a 'damp inspection'. Apparently, she’d already had a word with my grandma a couple of weeks back. I asked her to explain what exactly a damp inspection involved, but she just stumbled over her words and then hung up on me. Seems like a total con to me. Really creepy they were even suggesting showing up at the house - no idea what dodgy stuff they had in mind!
