I received a rather dodgy call from a chap named “David” who claimed to be from Microsoft and based in Reading, UK. However, his accent had a distinct hint of Mumbai. He went on about my Windows computer being compromised "by hackers"! The number flashing on my phone was 02396523320, and he requested that I ring that number back. Quite the curious encounter, I must say!
