Pretty sure this is a scam coming from a local number, like lots of them do these days. Got a recorded message saying it was from my bank, talking about £1000 and £300 being taken by some money transfer place. Since there’s not a single bank branch open within 15 miles of where I live, I don't think it’s legit!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying my internet security was under threat. They insisted that I enter various numbers to speak with BT or other service providers. I didn’t trust it at all, so I hung up straight away and promptly added their number to my blocked contacts. Just a friendly reminder: BT doesn't make unsolicited calls like this! Any issues with your service should always be reported by you directly.
