Got another one of those usual calls about loft insulation, this time from a bloke named ‘Tom’ who had a proper English accent, which was a bit different. I reckon they’re using some sort of soundboard with pre-recorded clips because as soon as ‘Tom’ mentioned it was about topping up my loft insulation, I told him I’d actually filled it with jelly and custard instead! The reply was just a dull ‘Alright then - thanks’ before he hung up. If it were a genuine person, I’d have expected a bit more of a reaction!
