Got a call from a man speaking with a foreign accent, asking for my wife who isn’t a doctor at all. When I asked who he was, he claimed to be a patient but then just went quiet and ended the call. Weird experience.

I got a call from a woman with a very polished English accent saying that I’d apparently joined some call blocking service back in 2016, which I honestly don’t remember at all. She was telling me they could stop all overseas scam calls for £1.50 a week. Problem is, I’m still getting around four nuisance calls from inside the UK every day, even though I’m registered. When I mentioned this, she insisted they had blocked UK calls too. I told her that definitely wasn’t the case. She kept repeating they only block overseas calls now. I just said goodbye after that.

Got a call with no one speaking on the other end, pretty sure it was one of those scam calls trying to catch me off guard. Total waste of time!
