They were inquiring about potential compensation related to SVS Securities, the online share trading platform that went into administration. Apparently, while all funds and share holdings have already been transferred to a different provider, they were still discussing the possibility of compensation that exceeds what has already been dealt with. This seemed strange, as it appeared to be related to the hassle or inconvenience one might have faced through this process.

What really unnerves me, though, is that this call was completely unsolicited, and I don’t recall ever expressing any interest or making any claims. It leaves me wondering just where they might have sourced my details from…
