Somebody called asking for Mrs Smith, I told them they’d got the wrong number. Then they cheekily asked if I was the owner of the house. I thought that was a bit much and just hung up. Could tell it was one of those cold calls, loads of noise in the background.

Got a call from some energy support place, they were trying to chat about upgrading my boiler. Seemed like they were offering advice on better heating options and stuff. Not sure if it’s legit or just another sales pitch. Just a heads up if anyone else gets a call from them.

I got a call from a very polite woman trying to sell me a boiler upgrade. As soon as I mentioned we’d just had a new one installed, she ended the chat pretty sharpish. Never asked for this call so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number. Felt a bit dodgy especially when she started using my first name straight away! If you need a new boiler, it’s better to find a company yourself, maybe get a recommendation from a mate, instead of trusting random cold calls.

Got a call on my mobile from a lady who actually used my first name straight away. She asked if I lived in Taunton, but when I said no, she just ended the call. It seemed a bit dodgy to me, especially since she knew my name!

I got a call today about a boiler offer or something like that. The person on the phone was trying to pitch some kind of deal, but I wasn't really interested. Seemed like a typical cold call to me. I just told them I wasn't looking for anything and politely ended the call. Bit annoying how these random sales calls keep popping up!
