I recently received a call from this number, with the caller asserting that they had got wind of a potential accident through my car insurance provider. However, when I probed further about which insurer they were referring to, the individual clammed up, citing 'data protection' as a reason for their secrecy. Quite rich, considering it was them infringing on my privacy in the first place! When I pointed out the irony of her request for my details to remove me from their list, she abruptly hung up when I mentioned that these practices are against the rules. - caller: telemarketing firm
