Got a call earlier today from 01823 423620 saying they were from my bank’s security team, telling me some money was taken from my account. I just ended the call straight away.

If they get your info, they sell it off cheap to well-known British firms and marketing companies, who then somehow benefit from your details. These crooks have no qualms about passing your info onto global scammers and fraud rings. Be careful. Just block them straight away. Don’t answer or chat.

I asked if I was speaking to the business owner, they said no and then just cut the call.

Scammers called me with a thick foreign accent that was really hard to follow. They wanted to speak to the business owner on my personal mobile. I told them I’d be reporting their number to the cops for spam calls and then blocked them straight away.
