On the afternoon of 25 October, around 3 pm, I got a call on my landline from 01823413895. The bloke on the line had a strong accent and claimed to be from BT security, warning me about some sort of illegal use of my internet. When I asked him to explain what illegal activity he was talking about, he wouldn’t give me any details. I told him he was basically accusing me of wrongdoing and that I deserved to know what it was. He then said he wasn’t accusing me of anything. I then asked to speak to his manager, but he just told me to f### off and hung up straight away.
