7 yearsa guy with an asian accent rang me and asked if i get loads of calls i dont want, when i said yeah, he asked how many i get each day. i just said bye and hung up.7 yearsToday’s been mad, got three calls so far all from different annoying numbers. Absolute joke.BT7 yearsI really don’t get why the government and BT haven't done more to protect elderly folks from these annoying scam calls. It’s so upsetting to think about how vulnerable people get targeted over and over again. Why is this still allowed to happen? It’s like no one is doing enough to put a stop to it. It’s just so wrong.BT7 yearsHad some bloke ringing me up, saying my Windows was infected or summat. When I said I didn't own a computer, he cheekily asked about a laptop - I don’t have one either! He was clearly after remote access to my device. Proper dodgy stuff that targets people who don’t know better. I did tell him a bit about how I felt regarding their nasty tactics. Honestly, they should probably think long and hard about what they’re doing with their lives.7 yearsI received a call from this number today, with the caller asserting that there were issues with my Windows PC. Upon informing him that my partner-who is actually a close mate, not a romantic partner-is a qualified Microsoft engineer, he retorted that having a computer technician at home wouldn’t help me. I firmly told him to look for his next victim and promptly ended the call. He then had the cheek to ring back, calling my husband a 'dickhead scammer'. I was taken aback and responded, 'Excuse me?' He persisted, branding my husband a 'bellend' and insisting that he was the real scammer, not him. I shot back, absolutely incensed, 'How dare you speak to me like that? I’ll report you!' and then he hung up.Microsoft7 yearsI think it might be some kind of computer hacker messing around.7 yearsThey’re con artists running that whole windows trick.
