got a call from someone claiming to be amazon. they said my prime subscription of £39.99 would be debited from my account. the caller told me to press 1 to talk to them. do NOT press 1! amazon prime only costs £7.99 a month. no idea what would happen if you press that, but probably some kind of scam or expensive phone charges. be careful and don’t get caught out by it.

Got a call saying they were from Amazon and trying to charge my bank, telling me to press 1 to talk to someone. Don’t fall for it, it’s definitely a scam.
