Someone called claiming to be from Vodafone, I told them I wasn’t interested and asked why they were calling me. Then they just hung up.

A woman with an Asian accent called me, claiming she was representing BT. She kept pushing me to test my internet speed, but I’m not even a BT customer. When I told her that, she was quite rude and just hung up. Then she rang back from a different number starting with 01823. I asked her to email me some info and gave them my email, but I never heard from them after that. This seems like a scam to me, especially since they used what looked like a local number, which made it a bit confusing.
