Got a ring from a bloke with a really English-sounding name, but he had an accent that didn’t quite match. He said he was from the BT Openreach Broadband Speed team, telling me my internet speed was slower than it should be and asked if I could run a test with him. I told him everything was fine with my broadband and ended the chat. The number that called me looked local, not the typical BT customer service one. Pretty clear that was a scam call.
