Right from the start I knew it was one of those busy call centres, so I ended the call straight away. The woman on the other end, who I think was Asian, seemed to be trying to sell me something but her accent made it hard to understand what she was saying.

Got another ring today, and honestly, I'm getting a bit fed up. I answered and it was one of those telemarketers trying to sell me something. I said I wasn't interested, but he kept going on, so I just let the phone hang up on him and waited till he finally gave up.

So, I got a call from a woman doing charity work. She asked if I’d be interested in donating, and I said sure. It was actually really pleasant, unlike the usual scam calls I get all the time. Feels good to have a genuine chat for once!

I’ve taken loads of calls like this but there’s never any noise when I pick up. They always ring late at night. I blocked that number, then got a call from another one. When I answered, some bloke asked why I’d blocked him. I just hung up straight away. Honestly, it’s starting to worry me a bit.
