I picked up this number since it had the same area code as us (01823). The guy said his name was Alex and started talking about fibreglass insulation. He seemed alright at first but quickly went into a spiel about traditional insulation stuff. When I asked why he was calling, he just hung up. I've put the number on block now.

Got a call from some bloke called Matthew about loft insulation supposedly covered by the government, which I don't have. The number popped up as international at first, but looked like a local one - just another trick to pretend it's from nearby. I've already blocked one of these scam numbers today, and now they’re ringing again from a different one. Proper annoying.
