I received a rather bothersome call the other day, supposedly about an accident I’d been involved in. The caller was quite insistent, claiming that someone had supposedly reported such an incident, yet when I asked them for the name of this mysterious individual, they completely brushed me off. Instead, they just kept harping on about whether or not I’d had an accident. I also pressed them to clarify why this was any of their concern, but that seemed to fall on deaf ears too.

I must admit, I wish I could have held them on the line longer than just under a minute, though at least that brief moment meant they weren’t pestered anyone else!

Had a really annoying call from some scammer saying that supposedly someone told them I’d been in an accident. I asked them a few times who this person was but they just wouldn’t say and kept pushing if I’d had an accident or not. When I asked why it was their concern, they just ignored me completely. Wish I’d been able to stall them for longer than a minute, but at least I stopped them pestering others for a bit while I was on the line!
