I picked up the phone to hear a pre-recorded message informing me that my number had been passed on by BT and that my line was at risk of being cut off today. They urged me to press 1 for more information. Quite frankly, this made no sense as I've been with BT forever and all my bills are settled. It felt dodgy from the get-go, so I wisely chose not to engage. This definitely smells like a scam of some variety.
