Had a call from a woman speaking with a strong foreign accent claiming to be from some guaranteed telecom company. She was pushing me to sign up for some nuisance call blocking and wanted to "verify" my card info for a monthly phone bill. Was so distracted trying to make sense of what she said, I only spotted after it was too late how much personal info she was fishing for!

This guy called claiming he was from my internet provider, but it was obvious nonsense as soon as I asked who my supplier was. He stammered and then rattled off a list of companies including BT and some others. Honestly, it was quite funny watching him fumble like that. Told him he’d be better off finding a proper job because he was rubbish at trying to scam anyone.
