The person asked me to run a speed test, then said I’d get a 9-digit code to reset my router once I confirmed the device I was on. When I told them they could just fix it from their end, they started blaming my browser and insisted on sending a code. Totally dodgy! Sounds like they were trying to get me to install something so they could control my device. I wasn’t having any of it and eventually they hung up.
