6 yearsSome bloke rang saying he was from BT Openreach and that my broadband modem was throwing up errors and needed a software update. He somehow got me to let him access my laptop through the AnyDesk app. When I started questioning who he actually was, he got a bit shifty and soon began fiddling with my computer's firewall settings. That’s when I cut the power to the router and switched off my laptop. I could hear lots of other voices in the background, like he was calling a bunch of other people at the same time.BTOpenReachSubmit Your Own Report (01822 792432)
