Got a call from someone pretending to be Virgin Media, saying my internet was running slow. They ran through a few basic checks then wanted me to download this thing called "AnyDesk" to fix it. People say AnyDesk is a favourite tool for scammers to get into your computer and mess around. When I questioned them about it, the caller just hung up straight away. Felt like they could’ve just asked the White Mice about the issue instead... anyone who’s read Douglas Adams will get that reference!
