On 27th Nov 2023, just after 10am, I answered a call because the number looked like it was from nearby. But it turned out to be an automated message talking about supposed debit card charges linked to Amazon Prime. Since I don’t have any Amazon account at all, I ended the call straight away. This seems quite suspicious, and I reckon it’s risky, especially since the caller managed to fake the local STD code to trick people into answering.
