Never ever hand out your personal info. These fraudsters piece together bits and bobs about us from random stuff they find on social media and other easily accessible places, plus dodgy security on your gadgets - and it's not just your own devices that are vulnerable. Afterward, they peddle this info on the dark web to a whole network of other scammers.

I got a call supposedly from Talk Talk, but when I asked the lady about it, she just cut me off and ended the call.

Had a call purporting to be from TalkTalk, but when I rang the number back, it turned out to be Cost Busters instead. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this PPI fraudster! He’ll eat away at your time with his incessant pestering. Quite the relentless nuisance, I must say!

It seems that there's a marketing firm by the name of Costbusters that raises some red flags. There’s a chance they might not be on the up-and-up, so it’s wise to tread cautiously if you come across them.

We've been getting calls from this number quite a bit, mostly when the office is shut. Today, I actually answered and a lady was asking for someone who's not worked here for ages. Then she just hung up. When I tried ringing the number back to find out who it might be, there was no dial tone at all. Seems like just one of those annoying nuisance calls.

This number is technically mine, but it's my daughter who uses it. The only reason they got through is because 3 Mobile must have shared some of my details. They phoned my daughter and asked for me, had my address wrong but got some bits right. Then they kept telling her I’d been in an accident - complete nonsense. They even tried to convince her she was actually me. Total con artists, just trying to pressure you into handing over more info. Stay clear of these scammers!
