Somebody rang me pretending to be from my phone provider, trying to sell me an upgrade. When I asked them to name my network, they got all shirty. Totally a scam, be careful!

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent trying to get me to switch my O2 plan... problem is, I don’t even have O2! Definitely a dodgy scammer trying to pull a fast one.

I got a call from a number I didn't know, so I checked it on here before blocking it. Then, almost right after, another call came from a number quite close to the first one, 01822300035, so I just blocked that too.

I just had a call where loads of different people were talking all at once, saying they were from Currys PC World. It sounded off straight away.

Got this message that looked like it came from 02: “You had a missed call from me at 13:41 on the 15th of August. This is a free Call Alert courtesy of O2. If you want to turn it off, just ring 901, then hit *, then press 5 twice.” Seems a bit dodgy if you ask me.

I got a call from 01822300034 but I didn't pick up since I had no idea who it could be.

Scammers posing as O2! The irony is, I’m not even with O2, so how on earth would I engage in a chat about my supposed contract with them? If you’re attempting to con folks, at least do your homework properly!

Total con… Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent asking about my Vodafone contract, which I dont even have. She said I could get free wireless earbuds if I gave her my address and phone number. Then she wanted my email, so I gave her a bogus one. Next, she asked for some kind of ‘account’ code (I made up a fake one) and if I’d gotten the code through. I recorded the whole thing. After about 10 minutes of her messing around, I asked if she really thought I was daft. She just told me to f off and hung up. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I answered the phone and they mentioned Carphone Warehouse. I just hung up straight away, I can’t stand those kinds of calls.

A few weeks back, I was involved in a small car crash but when they called, someone else answered and told them I’d never been in an accident. Then they just ended the call.

After not using my MyHeritage account for a while, I decided to log back in recently. Weird thing is, I keep missing calls from this same number straight after. I’ve seen a few folks online saying it’s linked to MyHeritage, but I don’t remember ever sharing my phone number with them. I even looked through my account details last time and I’m pretty sure there’s no phone number listed there. Quite strange!

No clue who was calling me.

A call from a company pushin' some Forex investment platform. Don't hesitate, just hang up right away, no need to think twice.
