Hat euer Mobilfunkanbieter denn je etwas über den Datenschutz erwähnt? Laut dem neuen Gesetz, das am 1. Januar 2011 in Kraft trat, ist es nicht gestattet, ohne ausdrückliche Zustimmung in die Daten eines Kunden einzusehen. Die Telekom behauptet, dass die Call-Center lediglich dann Zugang zu diesen Informationen haben, wenn der Kunde seine Rechnung per Fax oder E-Mail übermittelt. Das zeigt auch, dass der Kunde ein echtes Interesse an einer Verbesserung hat.

Received a call on the 27th of December, 2010, from a gentleman named Reinhardt Schmidt. He claimed to represent a supposed tariff optimisation service for business customers from Deutsche Telekom. Warum um alles in der Welt soll ich eine Rechnung von der Telekom schicken, nur damit sie mir bei der Tarifoptimierung helfen können? Ich meine, ernsthaft, die Deutsche Telekom erstellt eine Rechnung und sendet sie mir per Post. Und ich soll jetzt diese Rechnung ausdrucken und faxen, damit jemand meinen Tarif anpassen kann? Kommt schon, wir sind im Jahr 2023! Diese Informationen sollten doch längst in ihrem System vorhanden sein, und sie könnten mir direkt ein passendes Angebot unterbreiten. Mein Mobilfunkanbieter hat das immerhin auch hingekriegt!
