My philosophy is that if I didn’t call the number myself, then I certainly didn't ask them to call me! As there’s a 99.9% chance that I won’t wish to talk to them, as it's 99.9% spam callers anyway! I am so sick and tired of them disturbing my meal times, my sleep, and my entire private life! Please go and get a life spammers; we are not going to answer a call from you! Try a better career choice, spam callers; most UK citizens, like me, are far too sensible and won’t answer you! Well, unless we are bored and truly fancy a bit of fun! Which, as I do occasionally like to have a bit of fun with them once in a blue moon, is obviously only after I have researched the telephone number and confirmed that it is a UK-based one, of course! Only if they are then chancing their arm and are stupid enough to call me back again, then we five in our home are well-armed with huge arena air horns, and we are now fully ready to scare the wits out of them! So peeps, if you're sick of these persistent calls, are bored, and truly fancy a laugh, (my only wish is: that I could see their faces when I do this!). Then please go on a well-known selling platform and purchase an air horn, the kind used at arenas and massive events; they aren’t pricey. Then once you have received a call that you have definitely researched and had confirmed that it is definitely a spam caller first, then I don’t always immediately block it! I wait and see if they call again; then if they do, I answer it but say absolutely nothing! Be ready by having the horn beside you; I say this sternly and truly mean it people please!!!!! I will not ever condone anyone doing this unless it is absolutely held away from your body at arm's length! Or have someone else press it for you from at least an arm's length distance away from you and themselves, as it is a total assault on your eardrums and anyone else's in the home/business! If you have ever been next to one of these air horns and it has been used beside you without warning, then you will know why I am saying this as a very clear safety warning for all eardrums, especially hearing aid wearers, vulnerable/young people/babies without a very clear way of blocking this loud noise or who have the ability to get up and leave to go safely to another room!) Then-and only when you are definitely holding the air horn “at a clear and safe distance to everyone!”-give one good press of the button and put the phone down! I got a call from someone saying they were Tesco mobile, but it didn’t feel right. Probably just a scam trying to get my info. Beware, folks!
