10 yearsReceived a call today, 5th September 2011, at 11:15 on my mobile phone from this number: Initially, there was only silence on the line, and after several attempts of me interjecting, a somewhat flustered female voice emerged: “Blah blah blah, it’s Lotto’s anniversary, blah blah blah, your household’s been selected for a special draw, blah blah blah…” After a brief pause for thought, I queried, “So, you’re essentially trying to sell me a Lotto subscription?” - There was a noticeable silence - then the same rehearsed sales pitch continued - “I’ll send the necessary documents to this address…” and they rattled off an address that hasn’t been relevant for a decade, yet miraculously still appears in the directory. -pause- I concluded with, “I’m terminating this conversation now as you’ve clearly pulled my number from a database, and I have absolutely no interest in such nonsense!” I wonder when the next call will come knocking!12 yearsKeeps calling then just disconnects.12 yearsIt's a dodgy hotline masquerading as a lottery service.
