I highly doubt that they stand to gain any profits from this; it seems more like a strategy to keep customers happy. Of course, it's hard to say for certain, but these are calls that I don’t mind receiving at all. One can view this as a sort of arrangement where Otto has a special tariff with Eprimo that they can essentially hand out for free, resulting in Eprimo attracting new clientele without lifting a finger. It’s a classic case of mutual benefit, I suppose.

Let’s appreciate that there are businesses out there still aiming to lend a helping hand to their customers and trying to leave a positive impression with their thoughtful gestures. But, that’s just the way things are in this country, isn’t it? It seems like no matter what, some folks are never satisfied.

I've received calls from this number twice, yet each time I've been out. No message was left on the answering machine, so I suspect it’s just another marketing nuisance. I had a hunch it might be a promotional call from a telecom company, since I believe they also use 0180 numbers. It wouldn’t be surprising, considering our number isn’t listed in any directory, and nobody’s attempted to contact us before.

Das ist gewiss der Otto Versand. Ich habe ebenfalls verschiedene Anrufe von dieser Nummer erhalten. Nach dem Rückruf bat ich sie, meine Nummer aus ihren Unterlagen zu entfernen. Nun bleibt abzuwarten, ob sie das tatsächlich umsetzen.

Absolut, diese Werbung sollte definitiv nicht in den Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen versteckt sein. Es muss klar und deutlich als separate Zustimmung präsentiert werden, wo der Nutzer selbst entscheiden kann, ob er dem zustimmt oder nicht. Was ich jedoch nicht ganz nachvollziehen kann, ist, warum OTTO auf einmal an Werbung für Stromanbieter interessiert ist. Stehen die etwa vor finanziellen Schwierigkeiten?

Ich muss gestehen, ich erhielt ebenfalls einen Anruf von Otto. Ich habe ebenfalls den Anbieter gewechselt und kann nur sagen, es war eine einwandfreie Erfahrung, und ich spare ansehnlich. Viele haben oft nur Vorurteile. Otto möchte seinen Kunden einfach auch mal etwas Gutes bieten. Wäre Eprimo nicht preiswert, hätte Otto sicherlich nicht diese Zusammenarbeit angestrebt.

Ist es wirklich zulässig, dass ein Unternehmen unerwünschte Telefonanrufe tätigt, mein lieber Geschichtenerzähler? Selbst bei rechtlich erlaubten Anrufen hat man jederzeit die Möglichkeit, solche Anrufe abzulehnen. Das gilt selbstverständlich auch für die Call-Center, die damit beauftragt sind. Andernfalls handelt es sich um eine rechtlich verfolgbare Ordnungswidrigkeit in unserem schönen Land, das ist doch unterirdisch, was da abgeht!

So, here's the situation: It turns out it’s from Otto Versand, who are attempting to introduce their new energy partner to potential customers. Naturally, the aim is to entice folks into switching their electricity supplier. Given that we're already tied into a contract with a price guarantee, it doesn't really concern us. I mentioned from the outset that when the time comes, we'll handle finding a new supplier ourselves through a comparison.
