Es ist doch mittlerweile wirklich merkwürdig, wie oft diese Nummer den Namen ihrer "Firma" wechselt. Kaum zu fassen! Im Moment laufen sie unter dem kuriosen Titel Deutsche Premium Win. Wir haben unlängst eine Abbuchung von eben dieser Firma bemerkt. Natürlich haben wir den Versuch gemacht, die Hotline unter 01805012982 zu kontaktieren - aber das war natürlich ein Schuss in den Ofen! Da hebt ja niemand ab. Wenn du im Internet nach diesem Namen suchst, scheint es auch keine weiteren Infos zu geben. Wie gesagt, das ständige Umbenennen ist der Trick, damit man sie nicht aufspüren kann. Einfach absurd!

That's a fair point, isn’t it? How on earth is one supposed to cancel anything without an address, a name, or really any details at all? I find myself in the very same predicament. I’ve got to scour the internet for an address, cross my fingers that it’s correct, and then draft up a cancellation notice. But the real kicker? The moment I hit send on that email, I get a notification saying that the email address doesn't even exist! So now what? It's utterly baffling, if you ask me.

I received a call from them today, claiming to represent some sort of "consumer protection agency." They insisted it was necessary to safeguard us since our personal details were apparently circulating, and that someone could easily withdraw money from our accounts. They proposed some form of protection service for around £48. Honestly, this whole thing feels incredibly dubious, especially when I read through the other comments above.

Die Rufnummer scheint nach wie vor in Betrieb zu sein. Sie haben sich mittlerweile als etwas wie Verbraucherschutzinkasso ausgegeben oder ähnliches.

Absolutely spot on, Sebastian! It’s utterly untrustworthy. They’re essentially doing what they claim to protect us from: acquiring personal data and making unsolicited calls. And to top it off, they’re keen to charge for this nonsense! Genuine consumer protection agencies and the telecommunications regulatory body have far more important matters to attend to than bothering folks over the phone.
