She was able to provide the address without any hesitation. Her pitch was all about selling emergency alert systems tailored for the elderly.

In den letzten Wochen habe ich immer wieder gegen zehn Uhr einen Anruf von der Nummer 0180-5007874 erhalten. Einmal habe ich das Telefonat entgegengenommen und nur ein lautes Geräusch gehört. Seitdem landet dieses Rauschen immer wieder auf meinem Anrufbeantworter. Könnte es sein, dass sie versuchen herauszufinden, wann ich zu Hause bin?

Ich erhielt einen Anruf und habe, kaum dass ich abgenommen hatte, direkt wieder aufgelegt. Was ich jedoch noch hören konnte, war eine künstliche Stimme, die sinngemäss sagte, der Anruf sei umgeschaltet worden oder etwas Ähnliches. Es scheint, als ob es sich um eine Art "R"-Gespräch gehandelt hat, bei dem ich die Kosten tragen soll, obwohl ich der Angerufene war. Ich werde nun meine Rechnungen durchsehen und eventuell eine Beschwerde einreichen. Falls jemand dazu nähere Informationen hat, wäre ich sehr dankbar dafür.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to put out a warning for all of you. If you’re receiving calls from any places in Berlin or anywhere else connected to DIMATERNUS SENIOR HOMES, do yourself a favour and give them a ring. I contacted them and made it clear that I’ll take legal action against them if I get another call. The staff there were quick to understand my frustration and assured me that I won’t be bothered again. Seriously, please give them a call - date today is 18th June 2009.

If you're receiving calls from facilities in Berlin or any other location run by DienMatternus Senior Homes, I’d strongly recommend reaching out to them. I've already had a conversation with them and they’ve assured me I won't get any more calls. Should they bother me again, I'll definitely consider legal action. It's worth a ring just to confirm.

On 24th February 2010 at 15:43, I received a call from a gentleman named Kredel. He seemed quite well-trained and was attempting to sell me some sort of emergency response system. When I inquired further, he provided me with the address of: MATERNUS Seniorenwohnanlage in Köln-Rodenkirchen GmbH, Hauptstraße 128, 50996 Köln-Rodenkirchen. I intend to reach out to this company to clarify where they obtained my information. I had either made a donation or attended a charity event, so I’m curious to find out how my details ended up in their hands.

Als ich den Hörer abnahm, hörte ich nur ein merkwürdiges Rauschen - könnte ein Fax gewesen sein, wer weiss. Ich hatte nie angenommen, dass mich eine 01805 Nummer anruft. Gerade wurde ich erneut kontaktiert, diesmal von einer Dame des MATERNUS Servicezentrums, die Informationen zu Seniorenheimen bereitstellen wollte. Ich erkundigte mich, ob ich für dieses Gespräch etwas zahlen müsste, und sie bejahte nicht. Die Nummer ist zwar etwas ungewöhnlich, scheint aber wohl in Ordnung zu sein. Trotzdem wäre es ratsam, die Rechnung im Auge zu behalten.

On the 5th of March, 2009, I received a call from someone claiming to be an employee of MATERNUS, a retirement living facility located at Hauptstraße 128 in 50996 Cologne-Rodenkirchen.
