I had a rather odd phone call today from some folks looking to speak with a previous occupant of my residence. We let them know that the person in question no longer resides here and inquired about their identity and the nature of their call. Instead of clarifying anything, they merely repeated our address back to us and asked if it was indeed the correct one. Not wanting to engage further, we decided to hang up. When I tried to trace the call using 1471, the number popped up, but a recorded message informed me that the line wasn’t set up to receive incoming calls. Quite peculiar, if you ask me!

Got a call from this number earlier today at 5:25 p.m. As soon as we picked up, these folks apologised and mentioned they'd called the wrong number. However, when we tried to return the call, we were informed that the number wouldn’t accept incoming calls. Quite odd, to say the least!

I've just received yet another call from someone who has been passed away for two decades! It's absolutely baffling why these callers keep trying to reach them. It’s quite frustrating, really, especially considering it’s a waste of resources to ring up with erroneous information. Quite the nuisance, if you ask me!
