They call every single day - I always keep my answerphone switched on to keep track of who's phoning. Occasionally, they'll ring up to three times a day - but honestly, they seem a bit clueless considering how many times they’ve tried, my answerphone is on the whole time!! I'd like to pick up and tell them a thing or two, but I guess it’d probably just make things worse.

If you search for halifax ppi on google like I did, you'll end up calling 01802659720 by mistake. I clicked on some [#]halifax.ppi[###] link instead of the real halifax site which is [#]halifax/complaints. Turns out they work on commission, so be careful!

they phoned me yesterday and when i picked up they said it was capital one. i sent a secure message to capital one asking if the call from the torquay number was legit. they replied ‘yes’. in my message i also told capital one that for things like ppi i’d rather have emails or letters so i have a record. looks like they’ve got the memo. anyway, i’ve blocked 01803 659720 on both my landline and phone now.

I naively attempted to make a PPI claim, believing I was dealing with my credit card provider. Only after giving them all my info and getting a call did I realise this PPI firm had no connection to Capital One. Now they’re refusing to accept my refusal and want a hefty 36% cut of any compensation they get.

Got a call from someone named Jacob about a ppi claim. Not sure how they got my info but this company offered to handle the claim for me. Said they’d do all the chasing and if it went through, they’d take 36% of whatever I got. Honestly, 36%! I thanked Jacob but told him no thanks!

I received a call about PPI claims, and they insisted on verifying my identity with security questions.
