When I picked up the phone, an automated voice claimed to be from the fraud team, saying there was a £900 online purchase on my visa debit card. I pressed 1 to notify them of fraud, but as soon as they picked up, the call was cut off. I then rang back the same number but hid my caller ID, and an older woman answered. I told her that scammers are using her number in a visa card scam. Normally, when you ring that number, it doesn’t even come up as valid.

They didn’t leave a voicemail or anything which made me suspicious that it was probably one of those scam calls.
