They keep ringing both my mobile and landline incessantly. The caller's behaviour is quite off-putting, bordering on rude and aggressive.

Received a call on my mobile, answered with a cheery "hello" but was met with silence. Then, almost right after, they tried my home phone. Again, I greeted them, but the line went silent once more. I could faintly hear some sort of commotion in the background, like the bustling noise of a call centre or perhaps an announcement over a loudspeaker. Quite odd, if you ask me!

I picked up a call on my mobile, and as soon as I greeted the caller, the line went silent on me. Moments later, my home phone started ringing, but it was the same odd situation-just a faint background din, almost like a tannoy system or some call centre chatter. Very curious!
