some woman with an indian accent called and said her name was maria, she claimed she was ringing from microsoft. i told her no you’re not from microsoft, stop calling people at home. she then goes, are you dumb or something? i never said i was microsoft, i said i’m calling on behalf of microsoft about your computer. so i asked what’s wrong with it. she said my computer was sending error reports about viruses to them and they needed to fix it. i told her there’s no way i’m giving away any info or access to my computer, these lot are complete scammers.

Had a call from an Asian woman saying she was from Microsoft. I kept her chatting for like 20 minutes before finally saying I knew it was all a trick. Proper dangerous stuff, honestly.

I reckoned it was some sort of scam about my computer, and as soon as I mentioned that, they just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman with an Indian accent who seemed pretty new at her job. She was trying to convince me to let her take control of my computer, but I told her my computer refused to allow it. After that, she just gave up. Definitely don't share any personal details with them!
