Right, so if you accidentally answer one of these calls, just keep going on about the weather. Tell them you’ve got this weird phobia about it and love chatting about the rain or sunshine. After all, us Brits are famous for yabbering about the weather, aren’t we? Whenever they try to ask you anything else, just steer it back to the weather and ask how it’s looking where they are. Eventually, they’ll get so fed up they’ll just hang up on you. Felt pretty good getting a bit of payback!
