Got a call from this number but they didn't leave any message.

They didn’t say which company they were from, just asked if I was Ms xxx. I asked what it was about, then they went on about some survey I’d supposedly done. Honestly, I don’t take any surveys. I ended the call and blocked the number.

Got a call on my phone, didn’t pick it up since I’ve no one in Torquay. From what I’ve read here, sounds like just another sales call. Blocked the number now along with loads of others. Would be great if these calls would just stop!

Got a call from this number on my phone, didn’t know who it was. I just let it ring into voicemail but they never left anything. If they call back and still don’t say anything, I’m just gonna block it. Watch out, folks.

Just got a call from a torquay area code, and as soon as I said something, I was hit with some smart meter scam voice message. Literally sounded like it was voice activated. Really hope the government steps up and deals with these scam call nuisances soon, they're getting out of hand. I don’t even know anyone from Torquay!

Got a call from someone claiming they weren’t selling anything and just wanted to help me cut down on my energy costs. They even had my old surname on file, which is strange since I’ve been married for over a decade. Pretty sure it was just a sketchy sales pitch!

In just over a week, this number has rung me half a dozen times. I never picked up, but looking it up here, it seems to be British Gas regarding smart meters.

i think this might be a landline based in glasgow. i couldn’t find any reviews or comments about this number anywhere online, which kind of sounds positive. has anyone else dealt with calls from this number? ive tried looking up the number in various ways but no luck so far. although, clearly i’m not the only one curious about it - quite a few sites show searches for it. does anyone have a clue who this could be?

Got a call from 01803 300457, sounded fishy and couldn't make head nor tail of what they were yakking about. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Sounds like they’re pitching some sort of bitcoin service, but they want you to pay 250 euros right away. Just be careful and don’t rush into anything before you’re sure it’s legit.
