Got two calls today from this number. When I answered, there was nothing but silence, then some music played, and suddenly the call just dropped.

I received a phone call late last night from a Torquay number-around 1 AM, if memory serves. Out of curiosity, I answered but chose to remain silent. Subsequently, I dialled the number myself, not truly expecting anyone to answer this late. To my surprise, a woman picked up, with a chap’s voice audible in the background. She informed me that their firm focuses on property acquisitions. When I queried her about the odd hour for a business call, she mentioned it was part of their out-of-hours service. To my astonishment, she then insisted on getting my details for a callback, especially since I mentioned I had received a call from them, which I tactfully declined to provide. Quite the peculiar experience, I must say!

Seems like I’ve received one of those pesky cold calls. I tried ringing the number back, but all I got was some bland hold music. Definitely wouldn’t advise anyone to return the call!

I let it ring then rang back 141 and it kinda sounded like a call centre in the bg when someone answered, but they never said who they were from. If they were proper, they would’ve told me the company name. I just hung up.
