Got a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft cyber security, saying there was a problem with my computer. They asked to remotely access my PC to fix it. I told them I don’t own a computer, but they kept pushing. Ended up just hanging up on them.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Michael, said he worked for the Cyber Security Education folks. His accent was Indian and he struggled with my name. Ended up hanging up before he could start his rehearsed pitch.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from some cyber security team - which is just one of those dodgy calls I’ve got loads of lately. He wanted me to say my name, but I didn’t give him that. I then asked if his number was hidden since I’ve set up a block so no withheld numbers can get through. He seemed confused and then just ended the call when I told him what he was doing was illegal. Really fed up with these scam calls still coming through even though I’ve paid my landline company to block them and signed up with the TPS.

Got a call from some Indian guy who only used my last name, which felt dodgy right away. He said there was an issue with my network security being breached or something. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from 018001 800255 from someone with a weird foreign accent claiming there was an issue with my Microsoft account. Which is funny since I don't even use any Windows computers. They kept ringing back a few times, and then the bloke started getting rude. Couldn't call them back anyway. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up, clearly reading from a script but not very smoothly. He only used my last name and claimed he was from some cyber security team, saying there was an issue with my computer. Total scam, no doubt. I just nicely told him to get lost.

They rang me like four times, kept warning me if I hung up one more time they’d bother me every hour - what a muppet! So I just gave up and ended the call.

This guy called me saying he was from Cyber Security, but he had a thick Asian accent I couldn’t follow. I asked if he could speak in a different language, and right after that, he just hung up.

Somebody called saying they were with cyber security and insisted it wasn’t a scam. They kept going on about how my neighbour had already used their help and stuff. I just ended up hanging up on them.

They’ve phoned me a couple of times claiming to be from Talk Talk about an issue with my modem. I rang Talk Talk myself and they’re looking into it since they haven’t actually made any calls. Pretty clearly a scam if you ask me.
