I picked up the phone and chirped a cheerful "Hello", only for the line to abruptly cut off right after. Honestly, these pesky callers are becoming increasingly tiresome!

They kept ringing me for about a week straight. Each time, I said I was busy at work and couldn’t chat. When I asked them to ring back in a week, they got a bit nasty and rude. Just now, they called again and when I said I couldn’t talk, they started questioning me why I was busy. I told them I’d report them and to take my number off their list, but the bloke got really cheeky and said go ahead, he didn’t care. He sounded quite aggressive. Honestly, I hope they don’t end up hassling someone more polite or patient than me.

So, I pick up the phone and say “hello” and as soon as I do, they just hang up. Then, not long after, they ring back on my home or another number we have. They do the same thing again. I reckon they’re just seeing if the line’s live so they can bombard you with adverts or spam calls later on.

hey, has anyone got any idea who this number belongs to? it rang me, but i didnt pick up. not sure if it was a wrong call or some kind of sales pitch. i tried searching online but couldnt find anything clear about it. if you do know, please share, cheers.
