I just got a text from 07522849106 saying something about SANTANDER and a one-time code 917574 for a payment of £732 to Argos. I didn’t make this purchase at all. If anyone else gets this and you haven’t done it, they’ve given a number to ring straight away, 01798684918. Seems like a scam or someone trying to use your card. Just watch out!

I don’t even have a Revolut account, so obviously it’s a scam. Don’t bother phoning that 01798684918 number, just block the sender and delete the message.

AVOID THIS NUMBER AT ALL COSTS!!! Got a dodgy text supposedly from Santander, saying: “Your One-Time Passcode is 917597 for a 156.17GBP payment to TESCO. If this wasn’t you, call 01798684918 straight away.” The call seems to come from +44 7871 659157, which looks like it could be the scammers’ real number. I’ve already flagged it up to the 7726 scam reporting service. These fraudsters should be hunted down and put to an end. They’re just plain nasty!
