You’d expect a scammer to at least sound halfway convincing on the phone, but no such luck here. Got a call from some dodgy group (couldn’t catch their name properly) based in Pulborough, Sussex, claiming something about a car crash I supposedly had. Funny thing is, I haven’t been in a car for nearly four months now. The woman on the line had this really annoying shrill voice - honestly one of the silliest scam calls I’ve ever had. It was honestly laughable. I struggle to see how anyone could fall for that nonsense.
