Somebody rang claiming they was from EE, saying they could get me a new phone and cut my bill. When I asked if they knew who the phone was registered to, they just hung up on me.

Got a call claiming to be from EE, so I asked them to email me the info. They said only the billing team could do that, not them. I asked why they weren’t ringing from an EE number and they said they were from sales. Then I asked for my name, and they didn’t know it. That’s when I told them they’re obviously not from EE and ended the call.
