Got a call from Rye, and they wanted to talk to one of us. There was no good reason for them to be ringing, so I’m pretty sure it was just another phone scam.

I’ve encountered calls of a similar nature before. It was a certain "Remell?" ringing up about energy grants. I promptly hung up and ensured the number was blocked using Call Protect. In my opinion, BT really should be doing far more to probe these nuisances and cut them off at the source.

I received a rather peculiar call from someone whose grasp of English wasn't quite up to scratch. They were rather insistent that I had reached out to them for assistance with energy savings and cutting costs. Oddly enough, their solution seemed to revolve around me parting with more cash to engage their services. It struck me as a rather dubious manoeuvre for energy fraud.
