Received a cheeky call from someone pushing loft insulation services.

I reckon this chap was either trying to pull a fast one or just another persistent cold caller. Regardless, I hadn't invited him to ring me, and I absolutely detest these sort of calls. He went on about providing a complimentary loft insulation assessment, stating they were surveying attics in all the homes around my neighbourhood. To be honest, I couldn't care less about it.

Got a cold call from some loft insulation firm saying they do a “free loft check near you”, but they really had no clue where “near me” actually was. The person on the phone sounded like English wasn’t their first language, maybe from somewhere in South Asia. Oddly enough, they already had my address and postcode though.
