I've been receiving repeated calls from someone claiming to be from Microsoft support. They had the audacity to claim that my computer had been hacked or some such nonsense. I've since blocked their number.

Just like the others, some bloke cut into my Saturday morning bothering me about my computer and Windows. I tried getting a bit of convo going and asked about his trip to work. He said he was somewhere in London but had a strong Asian accent and couldn’t even say where exactly. I told him good luck trying to find anyone else to bother and then he hung up.

So, it was another Saturday morning when my phone rings, and this person with a strong Indian accent starts talking. They said something like, "Hello, this is a helpline about your computer, correct?" Quite fishy if you ask me!

Had a call from someone with an Asian accent who was really pushy. I missed the first call and he was back on the line the very next day. He kept trying to guide me through some keyboard stuff to fix issues on my computer - I wasn’t having any of it and just messed about a bit.

Totally a scam, I don't even use windows. Maybe a few years back I might have fallen for it, but definitely not anymore! I've had my apple device for over 5 yrs now.

Got a call on my phone this morning but I ignored it. Tried ringing back later and it just said the number wasn’t in service. My elderly dad, who’s 82, got tricked by them and somehow lost over £400 from his bank account. Luckily NatWest was good enough to put the money back. They kept ringing him until he finally said he’d contacted the cops.

Got a call on my phone while I was working, some bloke with a thick Asian accent asking for me by name. He started going on about supposed serious problems with my computer. I told him I’d save his number and report the whole thing to the coppers since it was clearly a scam. Then he just hung up. What a muppet.

Got a call from a lady with a Chinese accent, said she was from some tech support trying to ‘sort out’ my computer. Told her pretty bluntly to bugger off and not to ring me again. Then she had the cheek to call my mobile as well! Absolute pain in the arse!

Got a call from this number today, some bloke named “jack” on the line claiming there was an issue with my *windows laptop. Said he was ringing from tech helpline uk - classic windows support con, nothing new, but i’ve never seen this number pop up for it before. Definitely a scam, be careful!

this bloke with a thick Indian accent ringed me up claiming his name was george williams and said he worked in computer security. i told him right away i knew it was a scam and asked if he could hold on as i was tracing the call. no surprise, he hung up sharpish after that.

I’m not sure, but it seems like it could be some kind of scam company.

This number has rung me a few times claiming it's about my computer. Since I've been strictly an Apple user and haven't owned a PC in over a decade, I reckon it's just a scam or some form of harrassment. Plus, my number's registered with the telephone preference service, so these calls really shouldn't be coming through.

got a call from some supposed tech support guy trying to get into my work laptop, as if i'd just hand it over! he was really pushy and quite rude about it. kept going on even after i told him at least three times that i’m already in IT, so he should know i’m not falling for it. proper pain!

Had a bloke from "tech support" be really cheeky, asking if my cursor was working or not. Totally felt like a dodgy scam to me.
