I picked up and was met with a recorded message saying "thanks, goodbye"!

I got a call from someone saying they were an energy advisor. I mentioned we’re on the telephone preference service and there was a bit of a silence. Then he apologised and said he couldn’t assist me and promised not to call back. Honestly, he shouldn’t have called in the first place, but fair play for being polite - it’s quite rare these days.
